New Inksona

As some of you may or may not know, I was planning to maybe change the way my Inksona looks to reflect more of my tastes such as a blue color scheme -3-
I decided to switch to the Splatterscope as my official weapon. And I think in the end she'll have the Hairclip, Octoling Armor, and Blue Sea Slugs.

But my main issue is her actual colors. I don't know what to do. I made this, but I thought it looked too flashy. So questions I was asking myself were should I keep her an Inkling, should she have two different colored eyes or one color for both, etc..
I guess I need your guys' opinion cause I really want this to happen eventually despite the way she has appeared for so long. <.<
